Nigerian comedian Deeone has publicly slammed Afrobeat star Davido for commenting on a recent social media post by singer Chike.

Chike recently made headlines following unverified social media rumours alleging an extramarital affair with Sandra Edoho, the wife of veteran media personality Frank Edoho. Breaking his silence on the matter, Chike shared a video on his Instagram page showing his performance at a recent event. 

Reacting to the clip, Davido wrote “Wahala” in the comment section.

The comment did not sit well with Deeone, who took to his own Instagram page to call out the “Unavailable” singer. In a video address, Deeone argued that Davido’s comment was unnecessary and inappropriate, claiming it inadvertently serves as an endorsement of Chike’s alleged actions.
